How I work
I offer a confidential, calm and supportive service, to help you think about what you experience now, what has led to this point, and what you want in life.
My main training and approach is psychodynamic. That means I believe, for instance, that unconscious processes have a big influence on how we are with others and how we experience ourselves. Understanding our own inner life better can help us make changes and be more resilient.
I often see people for longer-term or open-ended therapy, but if it's more appropriate we can agree a number of sessions and a focus for our work at the beginning.
